who are we? we are the gold diggers!!!~ who are we? we are the treasure hunters!!!~ hip hip hooray!!!~ yes so that was the spirit we were in!!!~ a team of yes 3... because one couldn't make it... but that doesn't put us down... we strive till the very end!!!~ who are we? we are the gold diggers!!!~ who are we? we are the treasure hunters!!!~ 'The Gold Diggers' that was our team's name... in high spirit we set off to start our hunt for treasures... nyek nyek nyek... we arrived early at the mall and registered to get our goodie bags worth of foods and beverages incase we get hungry in the mid of treasure hunting and... was also given a tee to identify u as a treasure hunter as well as a pass to enter the theme park for the rides... it is a must in one of the activities stated... i got so overjoyed with the tee... hence took many many pictures of it   and again with the tee  annnnnnddddd again with the tee... with joyce this time oh yessss... how could i forget introducing my team mates... i was the team leader.... aaahhh moment of glory...  alongside we met many many other ppl from the same college too... hence gathered along to snap a pic... these are taken before the start of the hunt... of cos... before sure friendly friendly once the game begins... all enemies.... muahahaahahahahaahahahahaha *evil laughters*   with michelle buddy... she's in joyce's team... humph... where can like that? we are friends man... friends should stick to each other mah... go pek-tai me and joined joyce's team... hehe  i am infatuated with the tee... anyways... here is how it got started... as i've said earlier we've gotta register to get all the stuffs and all... while registering we needed to go give them our team's name and the person in charge will search through the list and mark a tick to ensure u get photocopied pieces of paper to fill in ur particulars for the lucky draw by the end of the day... so yoong told her our team is called the gold diggers... search through the list and it stated GOLD DIGGA... so we thought it was misspelt somewhat... who knows it was actually another team's name... after briefing at 11.30am which last till an hour... the treasure hunt officially got started... it was horrible i tell u... it was freaking tough... with snipbits of pictures from shops around the malls... ground floor till the 5th floor... 30 snipbits... we really got to look high and low and observe with intense concentration to find out if that snipbits belong to which characters, posters, wordings from the shop... that was the 1st part... 2nd part consisted of 8 rides at the theme park... which i took only one with yoong the easy peasy spinning thingy... yoong with shawn on the mixer... and we totally relied on shawn for the rest of the rides while me and yoong continued searching for the snipbits... 3rd part consist of performing on stage following the ambassadors to dance and sing... and if they were happy u get one of the treasure... 4th part... clue cracking... and we suck at it... attempted to but nevertheless suck at it hence we wrote nonsence answers... and we handed up late so minus 10marks... every delay of 5 minutes minus 5 marks... ppppffffttttttttttt... we handed in at 3.09pm i was exhausted and hungry... not just plain hungry... my tummy was practically growling... tired and restless... feet aching... thirsty at the same time... baaaah around 3.30pm after handed in the answer sheets and rested awhile we had our late lunch... 4.30pm we gathered again from the starting point... for lucky drawers and announcement of the winners for the event... guess what? they gave the answers of the clues and one of it was dutch lady's new latte called 'vienna coffee' ANNNNNdddddddd the thing is... this early morning i told shawn and yoong about the drink and how good it tasted... shawn wanted to get it but thought twice and might wanna get it later or during the game... see that was the first "hint"... anyways... lucky draws was spilted into 4 groups if i'm not wrong... starting from the lowest... consolation prizes... bla bla and the highest gold prizes... they are all for lucky draws... so they called names of participants... one after the other... no hope wan ler... how lucky can u get with over 150 over teams... TEAMS u know... not number of participants... joyce got lucky... she got the gold prize... another of our friend's friend got lucky too... and suddenly... for the final two more lucky prizes out came 'wong may mun' i was aesthetic i tell u... like ohhhh my gawddddd... me?? lucky draw?? me?? lucky draw?? me?? lucky draw?? okay i stop repeating... BUT IT WAS ME!!!~ FOR THE LUCKY DRAW... PICKED. OUT. OF. SOOOOO. MANY. PARTICIPANTS... AND THIS EVENT IS HUGE!!~ muahahahahahaahhahaahahahahahahhahahahahahaahaHAHAHAHAHA this is just way too much to handle... i've got the gold prize man... gold prize... i got the stainless steel pot... okay it wasn't that great... but it's from aowa... tokyo japan u know... sides' it's not just any ordinary pot... it's a multipurpose pot... those u seen from smart shop tv ads... where u can multicook with it... not bad huh?!!~ consolation prizes consist of a small paper bag with some stuffs, next was a carton of box drinks, then it was some dunno what i didn't manage to find out and then it was mine... it was the bestest bestest prize out of all lucky draw prizes.... *woot woot* oh joyce got the same prize too hehe... by the way... shawn got lucky too... $ fell onto his bag while we were on the spinning ride... don't know whose though couldn't find out cos she went off in a spooff... poor yoongy poops... by the end of the day... she ain't got anything... but we had fun didn't we? hehehe... and finally after all lucky draw prizes... came the prizes for winners of 3rd, 2nd and 1st placing... i told shawn and yoong before that if they ever mentioned the winner is gold diggers and i actually went up the stage to receive the prize only to find out it was the other team how embarassing it could've been... i was still overjoyed with my lucky prize so while they were announcing the grand prize i was over there repeatingly saying 'gold diggers gold diggers gold diggers' although i know we stand no chance even if we were to stand any chances of winning... the grand prize would've gone to joyce's team first rather than us cos they've gotten more correct answers for their clues... and then they announced (while i still repeatingly calling out our team name) - "The grand prize winner for this treasure hunt event is gold digGA!!!!!!~" *~~silence~~* CAN U BELIEVE IT??? CAN U BELIEVE UR EARS?????? GOLD DIGGA??? like what the??? teams sitted in front of me turned around and was confused as to why our whole team weren't reacting to the announcement made... why aren't we jumping with joy to the announcement... they didn't know (shakes head)... ironicly... there was another team which has the similar name as ours, the only differences is in the way it was spelt... GRAND PRIZE CAN?? MYSTERY GIFT + CASH PRIZES CAN??? arrghhhhh arggghhhhh arggghhh cash prize u know... cash prize... ~$$$~ so yeah it was yet again another "hint" from the start when we registered our names when we thought they had misspelt the name of our team which in fact they didn't... oh well... can't be greedy lah... at least i've got something out of this trip isn't it? was lucky enough to even got a lucky prize... *moments of joy* i went subang parade later the night to visit visit the carnival for awhile and they gave me this  so cute =) Labels: Event mun [
