my very first interview... meeting point was at the Crowne Plaza Mutiara KL... didn't know it was a hotel in the first place... thought it was some sort of shopping mall... mind my ulu-ness around KL... i hardly ever go down KL unless some forces made me to... anyways... managed to find the hotel and wanted to park there but couldn't cos those freaking rates are outrageous... first hour 5bux consequent hour 3bux chi sin man... and guess who owns it?? Security Parking the same as our college... seow man... they're freaking rich by just collecting parking fees... so instead we parked at wisma genting if i'm not wrong... first hour RM1.50 second hour 2bux and following 1/2 hour 2bux... also seow but not as seow as the Security Parking rates... anyhoo... the hotel was big i wonder how many stars was given to it... it took over a previous hotel... aaaaannnnndddd there were 9 of us there... guess what?? there's this girl who looked so darn familiar i'm pretty sure jin, ling and suet yee can recognize her... anyways we introduced ourselves... but still i can't really tell where i've seen her before probably she had those sort of 'familiar faces'... soooo anyhoo my supervisor briefly told us what our job functions are before the arrival of the interviewer, once she arrived we went straight up to the meeting room... first the waiting room then into the meeting room one of the ladies came into the waiting room, circulated a piece of paper to fill in our names... and then they'll call one by one according to the list into the meeting room for the interview session... so like i said there's this one girl whom i think she looks darn familiar right?? she was the 2nd person to fill in her name... i was the 6th person... when i was about to fill... i saw her name... and she is loh kwan yinn can u guys remember her?? can u?? how small can this earth be?? so many years have not seen her and of all places i met up with her there... remember suetyee once she said she wanna be a gynaecologist while we're still in yee's tuition?? guess now she detoured into business... i think anyways the feeling of waiting was sooooo... i can't put it in words... basically the waiting period was horrible the air was thin and the ambience was cold and quiet with only my supervisor's voice buzzing filling us with details of the job... this function is basically for the International Hotelier Convention (it's somewhat like this)... it's where people around the globe comes to hold meetings here... oh oh oh there'll also be a gala dinner on the very last day... whoopeee... so basically the delegation of task will only be given during the first day of the job... either base in KLIA where transportation will be privided to and fro- in a limo man... muahahaha all the way to KLIA, or base in the hotel itself or on the streets if i'm not wrong not too sure about this part... and meals will be provided throughout the day anyhoo back to the interview part... the first person who went in took ages to come out then subsequently it starting to pace up... then it was my turn... i had not one but four interviewers in the room... and to make matters worst there were 1 mat salleh he who is the top manager/management of the hotel... and 3 other ladies whom i don't know what position they hold... i was sitting at one end of the round table and the 4 of them sat over at the other end... so basically everything u speak had to be loud and clear... before my turn... i was expecting only 1 interviewer and i thought it was going to be the chinese lady because i saw her went into the room... so as many went in and came out more details poured out... one said it was a mat salleh who interviewed them... then next said the way his accent went u could hardly understand... many said he spoke rather fast... another soon said there were 4 interviewers... by then i was freaking out... 1 interviewer is bad enough... manatau i came to know it was a mat salleh it made it worst... manatau that's not enough it had to be 4 interviewers in the room... for what leh tell me for what?? i even came to a point whereby i call to quit... cos i am yes a coward and i cannot deal with foreigner because my english is bad... i speak bad english u guys should know right? with all the 'lah' 'mah' 'bah'... with all the 'wan'... then it was my turn... i was nervous... sure nervous right? who wouldn't baaaah... anyways they bombarded with many questions mostly from the mat salleh then the some from the other 3 interviewers... at some point my voice went shaky cos i know i am supposed to go on talking and not just answer word for word... baaaah... if i didn't get this job... it wouldn't really matter much right... i mean it is a good experience at least i have tried being on interviews and what to improve on... after everyone who went in and out... one of the ladies came into the waiting room and told my supervisor that she'll confirm those to be hired by monday... who knows when i arrived home around 3.30-ish or so... my supervisor called me and told i made it through for the interview... i am hired mate... muahahaahaahahahaha out of 9 interviewees only 4 made it through.... muahahahahahahahha CAN U BELIEVE IT???!!!~ FIRST TIME BEING ON AN INTERVIEW... BY A MAT SALLEH... AND I GOT IN.... I GOT THE JOB.... I FREAKING GOT THE JOB *skipping with joy* *tra la la la la* eh i'm not bragging or whatsoever yeah... just that i am sooo freaking happy cos it's me who speaks like that an have low self esteem and never really achieve anything big in my 21yrs of living... so am sharing my joy to those who care... cos i know u guys do care about me right?? right???? hahaha... dude... i did not say 9 out of 4... i said only out of 9 only 4 made it... *tsk tsk* nv pay attention while reading i'm *hurt* hahaha anyhoo... i'm not to sure what's the job function basically answer question whatever they asked and erm... well guess i'll only know what i'll be doing on that day... who cares i've got the job muahahahahahahaahahahahaha
