2nd day of work (29th Nov 2005) today's job is exhausting but it was fun... well so long as it is to me compared to yesterday's... cos this time i'm much smarter to choose a better location... apparently... they do not follow the scheduled given timetable as to who should be positioned at where... because this Mr. Alan guy... the person in charged... he doesn't wanna stick to the timetable he wants to have it done the 'Alan' way which is... delegating the staff spontaneously so everyone has a share of everything... muahahahaha so today i pandai volunteered to work on flat land... ho ho ho no more slopes... plus it was much more fun to work on flat lands along the cafe/restaurants/hangout place rather than being oh-so-lonely at the entrance of klcc... there were 3 people been positioned along that pathway heading to klcc... and the 'waterboys' hotel staffs who are in charge of handing us mineral waters to be given to the delegates hangs around there waiting to collect the leftover bottles after it ended sooooooooooooooooooo this time around... the delegates no doubt were less friendlier probably too lazy to smile to EACH and EVERY host/hostesses they past by every single day at least 2 to 3 times a day... they have indeed came to realize that we are afterall humans, they sped up their walking AND... AND... AND... they walked.... in GROUPS of say... 50 people!!!!~ *woot woot* this convention has about 360 delegates so... if they keep on coming in 50's... man it seriously makes my job so pleasantly overwhelming... actually i smiled the whole day today... haha don't know was it because of the shorter hours... or was it because my feet hurt much lesser than previous the night plus it could also probably because the 'waterboys' drop by to talk crap with me... which made the time passed far much quicker... one called 'robert' that's his "hotel-given-name" so ppl would be able to identify him easily... he's a malay hence don't think robert is his real name... and the other called 'shaun' has the most beautiful drop dead gorgeous brown eyes on earth... among the entire bunch... i only got to know these 2 cos they were lingering around that area where i was positioned at... he's beautiful beautiful hazel brown eyes... gosh soo envy okaaaaay... i've spotted him last night amongst the rest... cos of his really drop dead gorgeous brown eyes but didn't get to know him then... haha so today since he lingered around that area sending waters to me surely lah talk talk abit... he's 16 by the way... from penang... knew it cos i was talking to 'robert' about ipoh food being the best (yes... i am always never fail to stir up/end up in conversations about food) and he pulak budge in to say penang food rocks... that is because he's from there.... sheesh... great day today... great people... great time... though my feet hurts still and will still be in the following 3 days to come... but yeah... i should be able to get the hang of it... what i dislike about today was that... we had to have dinner at the staff's canteen having to indulge leftover food... no doubt it is still hot but yeah whatever... the bread/man-tou/bun (various flour made product which no one's able to identify it) was as hard as rock... seriously... when u see it... it looked uncook/unbake/unfresh however u put it... and u've to clear the table aka. self-service after makan... i didn't even know the canteen exist... because... the area where the canteen was hidden is at lower level ground... and it was hidden behind a wooden frame without a doorknob... to others who didn't know... it's like a deco wooden thing... mana tau when u push it... it opens a passageway to the kitchen to the canteen... so what have we learn today? try pushing any decos in hotels u might be surprised to find a hidden passage way behind its beautifully decorated wall still on the dislike issue... 'we' considered as staff are not allowed to loiter around the lobby area because it wouldn't be too good seen without our uniforms hence we've gotta wait at 4th floor before anyone arrives to pick us up... kesian kan?? all in all... today was pretty well off... hopefully it'll be the same as tomorrow?!~ Labels: Studies-Work-Frust-$ mun [

awwww it was about me.... *tears* 3 more weeks to ur butt back here... i've just realized that msn or blog has brought us closer... don't u think so? hehe
