back to ipoh for a day... marvelous journey... started journey at 7.15am and arrived right on the dot 2 hours later... had sumptuos breakkie at old town - ipoh chee cheung fun + custard + beef balls + ipoh white coffee = these are a must i tell ya
then back to granny's place after breakkie... had pamelo, apom & 'tigerman' (sorry lah don't know what it was called in english - it's something made of flour with kacang+sugar in it) then we celebrated granpa's birthday had 'tipumisu' (supposingly tiramisu which i doubt it is...) with one look it was covered with fresh cream all over... once sliced it looked just like any ordinary sponge cake with fresh cream/mousse in between layers with a pinch of coffee taste in it... and wah lah they called it "tiramisu" konon-nya... urrgghh and it was bought from a renowned shop that is... ipoh never fails to amuse me with all their imitation brands... they can have a shop name selfridge for insteance and ended up selling "other" ciplak brand of clothes in it... some may even been tag/labelled the selfridge name on it... some even sell bags that should cost a bomb because of the brand... however... with one look again u can tell it is not and they dare priced it for 119bux... see how amusing these can be???
anyhooo... we had dinner at one of the restaurant... and first time ever have i heard for dinner... dim sums were served... dim sums u know... those are like for breakfast man... anyways... it was priced at a very low + affordable + reasonable price... every plate regardless of whatever u order will be at RM1.18 each... damn cheap can?? from the dessert 'fa sang wu' (fined-blended peanut soup - i know my translation's abit off ler... gotta deal with that since i can't find the exact english description for it) hong kong 'chee chung fun' or even 'char siew pau'... all RM1.18 each... and of course there were other primary dishes of dim sum lah like 'har kau' & 'siew mai'... soooo yummylicious... about 21 of us... the bill sums up to only RM168... like wooooaaaaaaah cheap can?? so many dishes and only 168bux... where can u find such prices in KL?? and the thing is... it's cheap yet delicious... so it is a very very very good deal
journey back begins at 7.15pm and arrived again on the dot 9.15pm at subang jaya... highways are getting very efficient these days provided having no accidents and no ppl busy-bodying around
