today's the day man!!!~ today's tze day!!!~ i woke at early 10am just so i have ample time to make cheeseballs as i've promised myselt that i would... the ingredients are easy and cheap except for the cheese... so it's TEPUNG GANDUM, CHEDDER CHEESE SLICES, 1 POTATO, 1 EGG YOLK, 1 SLICE OF HAM, BREAD CRUMBS first of all... boil the potato... when it soften... peel the skin... shred it with fork and mix it with the flour... u agak how much flour to put lah its to ur own's estimation... pretty easy... then add a bit of water and egg yolk... mix it all till it's dough like... roll roll flatten it... then roll again a couple of times till it looks like this...  after which... u cut it into pieces to ur own estimation... i only managed to cut up to 7 pieces... pretty pathetic after all the hard work...  then u stuff the steamed ham cutlets and cheese slices cutlets in it... roll up into a ball... roll the ball into a bed of breadcrumbs for the extra oomph... make sure it is covered equally well all over... and fry it in a wok... wait till it's golden brown and... then it's ready for consumption  seems easy, no??? well here's the outcome...   see how the cheese melted and imagine this ---> the one bite u had... crispy crunchy on the outside and cheesy oozes on the inside with a tinge of saltiness from the ham... it's peeeeeeeeeerrrfeeeeccccccctiiiiooooooooooooonnnnnnnnn NOT!!!~ my cheeseballs failed!!!~ yes read that again... it failed!!!~ everystep was taken with great caution from the dough making to the stuffings BUT i've forgotten that... FIRE controlling is VERY important as well!!!~ i set it to high hence the cheeseballs turned golden brown pretty quickly... and i was happy about it... all was done in no time... only that when i bite into it... the dough WAS NOT COOKED!!!~ bagero shit!!!~ everything's perfect - the crust turned golden brown like it should... the breadcrumbs was very much crispy as it is... the cheese melted like the way i wanted... the ham's cooked to perfection... all's well except for the freaking dough... why the heck wasn't it cook!!!~ baka mun baka!!!~ so i message ken mun my sifu... and it's all because of the fire... since i am not deep frying it... i should fry with great patience under low fire... great man!!!~ much time and effort wasted... i should've just bought me a book and stick to reading... why am i a girl in the first place when i can do no cooking??? =*( Labels: Cravings-Yummylicious mun [

if want... just purchase the ayamas balls... they have somewhat similar if i'm not wrong... have not tried but should taste fine
awww....but it looked so nice though and so promising. Don't get bummed, cooking is a trial and error kind of thing. I expect you to perfect it when i come back yeah.
haha i know it looked so promising... so u see the proverb 'never judge a book by its cover' is always true
oh well... lingy poopy... i won't be doing it anymore... lazy lah... unless i get a deep fryer machine or force yoong to help me with the frying
