Trees and lots more trees Thursday, March 09, 2006
i was this close to being crush by trees... not TREE but treeS...
i was heading back to subang using the kelana/subang golf club way... the road opposite the MAS building which along the way has been landscaped with many many many gigantic tall trees... around late 3 in the afternoon... heavy downpour started... i was on my way back from uptown... then it drizzle, soon it rained... heavily... thindering and all... it was pretty scary... but i know i should be safe in the car
my car's wipers is of no use... the rain's too heavy too strong... i couldn't really see or judge the distance of my car from the other... so as i turned into one of the junctions... along the way... most of the time i was estimating my distance from the car ahead of mine... then i managed to see the cab in front of me entering into the next lane... was wondering why... but some sense told me to just follow and so i did... as i turn into the next lane... i got nearer to the object and only realised a tree had fallen... not to worry afterall it was down i'm safe... rain doesn't seem to stop and it got heavier and heavier... honestly the view was terrible... soon i realised many cars ahead started to u-turn... which wasn't so bad IF they u-turn at the right lane given... BUT instead these cars were u-turning OVER the curbs.. like omg??!!!~ what the heck is happening... then i tried to look ahead... trees by trees started to fall... it's either they're falling or because it was soooo tall it bend REALLY low... i freaked out okay... i felt inferior in such tiny car with only quarter tank petrol... like freaking panicky...
so like... omg i should not care so much... i don't wanna end today... so i ran over the curb as well... and because there were big cars on its way... i u-turn midway and had to let them past before i squeeze my way out to force them to give way... that's not the final yet... after the u-turn along the way there were still trees falling... most were on the ground... some were swaying side by side violently... the only thought i had in mind was to press onto the pedals and get out of the area as soon...
didn't manage to return home... instead the nearest i could go was my granny's so i landed there... approx 10mins upon arriving... the rain STOPPED sun came out and in no time... everything's dry AND sunny... tell me what had just happen to me??? so drastic can??? anyways i'm glad i'm home safe and sound and all in one piece still living and breathing =)
