which i doubt u guys can see me... haha however it was a real good experience... something new which such opportunity comes rare... now that i know what works behind the scene instead of what was portrayed in the advertisements on tv as viewers... there were a lot to do... uncountable 'cuts' and 'retake' sessions!!!~ it all started with a mini shopping trip to the Curve with my cousin who (doesn't know her age *tsk tsk* still wanted to get a superman tee) she couldn't find one that was suitable for her though... so we continued walking aimlessly around the mall... not to long after she had a call from a friend of hers who works freelance in the production line asking if she wanna do a quick and short commercial casting... and of cos being cashless/jobless/unemployed she agreed to it and asked if i were to join in cos i am in the same situation as her... hehee so yeah she, me together with her other guy friend went in for the mini roles in the commercial... and it was freaky at first cos' we don't know what to expect... it just felt really weird at first like what should we do... will we laugh when we act... all sorts of nonsense runs in the head... what was most exhausting was the waiting... sitting around waiting for the right time to close the shop to outsiders, waiting for the crews to set up the cameras/lightings/display sets... lots of things were done... was there about late 6pm... casting was to be done at 7pm... by the time everything was settled and ready to be film, it was 8pm... the guy and i were to walked into the shop together while my cousin is to walk out after we passby her plenty of bad shots... not by us of cos... since our roles are so mini in the backdrop... so all in all there were about 20 retakes doing the same thing... in and out in and out of the shop... it was really tiring and exhausting... i know we didn't do much but the retakes can be rather annoying... and repetitive is irritating... all worries we had earlier before the shots were gone after several retakes and everything seems to be pretty casual... this lasted till late 9-ish... still we had to wait for after that for quite some time in case we might be needed later... damn tiring can?!!~ now that i've realised... one short commercial takes up so much time and effort (they were filming since 7 in the morning... and still not done yet by the time we left) imagine acting in a movie/series... how many months will u take to film a 30 episode series? it could take up a year no doubt so all in all... it's a thumbs up cos i had a great experience and it's pretty a good pay even though it was just a phewny little mini minor tiny teensy role... haha and no... i will not tell u what advertisement it is till it is out and that i see myself in there... meeheheheheheehe behind the scenes... not very clear though that's the little tv which the crews from the outside will communicate with the crews inside to tell whether it was alright or not post note: i've forgotten to state that we had lunch at paddington house of pancakes... i have not tried a plate on my own cos' i was nervous then plus i was still full... anyways this was what my cousins had... looks darn good... tastes great too... i will go there one fine day... no names for the dishes cos' i've forgotten what we ordered...
