good morning everybody!!!~ i am feeling oh so happy today!!!~ arrived home at 5.55am last night and managed to fall asleep after posting my previous post at 6.30am... didn't knew i was this tired to sleep off the whole afternoon until my cousin called to wake me up... with yet another good news!!!~ teee heee heee hee heee 2.32pm i woke up... man 8hours of sleep it has indeed replenished all that late sleeps and lacking off during the whole month of worldcup!!!~ and now that i'm fully awake i shall post on what happened yesdterday before the finals begin!!! ~evening~ dinner... had it at Rakuzen - my 6th uncle's treat... superdelicious... and as for now... i have completely satisfied my tastebud there... it will not be my main choice to return for dinner for the time being until i've tried all other jap restaurants in m'sia... i was the organizer for the dinner thingy... cos the restaurant isn't very big... we had to pre-order so that when we arrived the food will be laid out not long after... a dinner for 24 person... that's a huge crowd plus not just the main dinner set... we had other side dishes, desserts etc... so yeah it was pretty messy and had a mistake of mixing up my 4th and 5th uncle's main dish... apart from that all went smoothly and totally satisfied... or at least i hope they are... cos i AM satisfied... pictures pictures pictures... these were the few ones i managed to get hold of... and of course there were lots more others hotate kushiyaki... skewered grilled scallop in teriyaki sauce   shitake kushiyaki... skewered grilled shitake mushroom in teriyaki sauce  my soft shell crab temaki  grilled shishamo  spider roll  mom's dinner set - hitsumabushi zen - eel thingy... with 2 different types of rice... once is u have to pour the tea in it... the other she thinks it's mixture of flowers with the rice (the small bowl far left corner)   my dinner set - sushi to yakiniku zen - sushi with grill beef  syee's dinner set - sushi to chicken teriyaki zen - sushi with chicken teriyaki  sophie's dinner set - sushi to tempura zen - sushi with tempura  ice-creams (clockwise from far right corner) - Goma Ice~ black sesame, Macha Ice~green tea, Yukimi Daifuku, Yuzu Sorbet  we are all in a family... 24 people... we took the entire stretch of the room  my lovely cousins... all 11 of us... one was hidden behind my other cousins  ~night~ was still contemplating who to follow for footie while having dinner then... because... we had no plans... or we do... but no location to settle in with... so it was kinda frustrating because it is the finals... and italy is involved... syee offered for me to join in if my friends couldn't make it whatsoever... in the end... i had 3 choices... mont kiara, the curve and bukit bintang... BUT it'll be nuts to go bukit bintang... to join in the fun maybe if we could ever arrive there on time and being pack in the crowd having heads blocking my view defeats the purpose of watching footie at all... so bukit bintang out... mont kiara and the curve is a better option in the end i chose to go the Curve... as usual that guy was late... said to arrive in 30 minutes he came in later half an hour... i was peeved of course cos it was freaking hot with the tee and i had gotten all ready waiting... i hate to wait... unless i get paid for... like the casting session... that i wouldn't mind... hehe... okay so anyways... i was peeved whatever... till i entered the car only to realise he was a driver to 2 others and me... he went round picking up people... poor thing... sorry for mistakingly peeved at u... after me... he had to pick another 2 more... one near Utar another in SS2... then we headed to the Curve there was stage performance and a gigantic screen... but we didn't choose to watch there cos we had to stand... stand would be fun if i am tall and that my view is clear else, no point... so we walked around and landed in 'Laundry' bar bistro restaurant i think... no more tables no more chairs... we had to take tables from the flea market and chairs elsewhere... while charles left awhile, sinky and joe went away to see the crowd on the streets... the flea market guy came and asked for rental for both tables and chairs... crazy arse... 10bux for the table and a dollar per chair... pecan peanut pastry pumpkin beckside poo... came to cheat our money... we refused to give in and only paid 2bux for the chairs we sat on... since it's only us then... so yeah we were only left with 2 chairs because everyone's everywhere and we refused to pay so much in case we might move elsewhere later on... sponstaneity isn't very good at times... and it was drizzling then... we did managed to grab hold of one more chair later on left with no table and only 3 chairs for 5 people half an hour before the match starts... no choice but to join the chairs and shared... grab some junks and drinks at 7-eleven to munch during the game... it was fun despite the backache because we were busy concentrating on the match anyways... saddest fucked up moment was the penalty given to france during the 7th minute of the game... while the happiest moment was when italy scored a goal later while still in the first half of the game... most exciting period... additional half hour cos anything could happen then + penalty kicks very chi kek!!!~ joyous moment of all - of course lah when italy scored the 5th penalty and won!!!~ wooooo hoooooo so so so happy kay!!!~ *jumps with joy* what am i gonna do without worldcup??? what what??? no more excuses to wake up late the next day no more excuses not to hunt for jobs... back to reality ay'!!! i shall declare my own holiday because italy had won the worldup... not that my semester's starting or what not... holiday in the sense of slacking a bit more before i get my butt out there looking for a job =) i am happy and this happiness is what we called... WORLDCUP FEVER JOY!!!~ the joy that footie brings!!!~ hip hip hooray!!!~ hip hip hooray!!!~ hip hip hooray!!!~ Labels: Cravings-Yummylicious, Event, Happy =) mun [
