Hong Kong Day 3 - 17th Aug 06' we checked out of L'Hotel and into Ramada Hong Kong ... time passes quicker in hong kong... probably because we wasted half the first day during the journey from the airport to the hotel... anyways... checked out early and had been carrying our heavy luggage heading to our next hotel... it was then sy notices the stairs which appears in all series... the 'steep stairway' this was the shorter version of course... nevertheless no harm having a pic with it since it looked like the real one...  then off we headed to our hotel by subway to Sheung Wan then walk and walk and walk and walk a hel' lot before arriving at our hotel... we walked along the street called Seafood Street? or something to that off... basically the entire stretch sells nothing but dried seafood... it took us ages before arriving at our hotel and the nearest subway was said to be 20 minutes walk... crazy... we took longer than that... the walk was crap... and we weren't able to check in as they were still cleaning the room...  they even had a dressing table in the toilet... so cute with a stool  we couldn't wait till the rooms were done cos' then it was 1.30pm and we shall not waste our time waiting... so we left our luggage with them till night... then off we go to the Avenue of Stars... similar to those in with hollywood stars... only that this are famous hongkie artists... my gorgeous chow sing chi is one of them... hehe... muahahahhaahaahaha... so proud of him... BUT the sad thing was... his hand prints weren't on it... *boo*  why lah chow sing chi... why didn't u spare some of ur time for this? at least i can see how big ur hands were even if i can't see the real u  jet li's hand print... can u see the different shades of my neck and back... my neck got burnt when i was in korea... the sun there is way hotter than it was in hong kong  fight like a bruce...  sea view from the place i was standing... really breathtaking  after spending quite some time there... we continued our journey of shopping around the streets... Temple Street for a very short while... cos it was said to be "man's street" as they were selling erm... man's stuff... so we detoured back to Ladies Street again... haha... had our dinner at a noodle shop... don't know what it was called in mandarin... but this shop specialises in noodles only... see what i mean  all the different types of noodles for u to choose  what i had was featured on the newspaper cutting stuck on the wall... wrong choice of noodle though and what sy had was pork chop cold noodle... vermicilli i think  and some fried dumpling... which fillings was parsley or the green thingy that they normally fry together with char kuey teow  and smart enough this time... we took the HKD2 tram which stops directly at our hotel... hehe... no more long walks  Labels: Vacation-ing mun [
