Seoul Day 4 - 13th Aug 06' and the day begins with... carrying our heavy luggage... checking out of the hotel to head to our next bunking area Tea Guest House... pretty pretty hanok style of living... if i'm not mistaken... think they preserve this area for foreigners to bunk to experience a taste of korean living anyways... it took us quite somewhile to arrive at our new place... situated around Anguk area... as usual we couldn't find our bunking place and started asking around... thankfully koreans are really friendly ppl... they would either bring us to where we wanted to head if they knew OR they would ring up the place to ask the location and direct us there... this part of town is pretty quiet calm peaceful and serene... to my astonishment the Auguk subway is filled with generally elderly people... those who are in they mid 60s-70s... unlike the places we visited earlier first visit was to Namsangol Hanok Village... a traditional korean village whereby they restored korean houses with a pavillion, pond... etc etc... interesting architectures next stop ---> Apgujeong Rodeo Street ... the fashion street where all the hip and trendy boutiques were located... did not spend much time there this shop sells the cutest stuffs ever... and it's useable... like the mini refrigerator, mini water distiller... and wine dispenser or something to that of... for personal room use... darn cute right? and darn expensive too then we headed off to Insadong when night fell... and in here... finally managed to find their traditional things like the metal chopsticks, bowl and phone pouch... hanok style restaurant grafittis in the toilet Labels: Vacation-ing mun [
