so i thought i would hibernate at home today looking through the newspapers for jobs or at least to the gym later in the evening but plans changed because jo messaged me at 1pm asking if i would join her dinner and later with nel klcc... and so i did took me an hour plus to arrive klcc... accompanied her for awhile while she had her haircut at fusion till 3-ish... had a stroll at isetan cos i have not been in there for eons... while i was in there a piece of denim couture clothing caught my eyes and i realised that every pieces of it were made up of the same design with different structures... really cool... jo saw a line of patchwork pieces so i went over to join her only to realised that the patchwork designs looked really familiar especially on the couture piece... it didn't ring a bell till the person came over to attend to us... curiousity leads to me asking if she was from the MIFA... and yes she turns out to be Venie Tee who has won the 'most promising designer' & 'best casualwear award' 2005... honestly i don't quite like her designs cos' it was mostly made from patches from all sorts of fabrication... then it was on tv... till i saw the real pieces... i take back what i have just said... really gotta salute her for the uniqueness of her design - the delicateness and refineness of the sewing, pacthworks, materials, and the selections of similar but different patterns of fabrics to form the patchwork which made it not of but a sense of similarities... okay so i don't know what i have just said but yes it is beautiful... though i wouldn't buy it but it is a piece to admire about... most are made of cotton if i'm not mistaken or at least the one in the couture pieces anyways... moving on... i thought we wouldn't be having dinner with nel hence we had it at Chili's about 4-ish... i had burger while jo had her share of salad... my share of humongous medium-well burger serve with fries  and jo's moutaineous salad - pita bread + cheese, chicken slices, cheese, mayo, vegetables, beans, corns, etc   was to meet nel at G2000 at 6pm but he wasn't there so we wandered for awhile took a peep at G2000 and there he was waiting... dropped by a few shops to get jo's digicam and since nel hadn't had his dinner we dropped in California Kitchen for another round of dinner at 8-ish maincourse - fettucine with garlice cheese/cream sauce  appetizer - medditeranean something, with fillings of mushroom, tomatoes, cheese... (i think)  dessert - hot chocolate brownie  yeah we had our maincourse served before the appetizer because initially we thought it would be in large portion... but turns out to be not... so we made a second order... the brownie is served hot with ice-cream and whip cream... it is just awesome man!!!~  my tummy don't feel too good now... i looked like a 3 months old pregnant lady by the end of the day!!!~ the food was awesome though!!! =) Labels: Cravings-Yummylicious mun [

peking duck? ooohh think i've seen that in the menu... but that's like chinese... how could it be on a pizza... nice kah?
not bad. a bit on the sweetish side. la...chicken can be on a pizza. why not duck?
i missss peking duck + pancake. :(
any idea where i can find decent. not too expensive ones around PJ/KL?
